Dr. Muntasir Khaled DPM, FACPM
Dr. Khaled graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. He then became a Research Associate at the W.M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. Melitta Schachner, a world-renowned neuroscientist, and New Jersey Professor of Spinal Cord Injury Research. His main project dealing with regeneration after spinal cord injury, evolved into a published article in a highly regarded scientific journal. Dr. Khaled then went on to pursue a doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in New York City, where he was exposed to a wide variety of clinical pathologies at the Foot Clinics of New York. He then completed a comprehensive 3 year surgical residency program at Robert Wood Johnson Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ, where he served as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Khaled is also fluent in Spanish, French, and Bengali making communication easier for those of different cultures and backgrounds. Along with a strong academic research background, he has received extensive training in Foot & Ankle Trauma, Elective Podiatric Surgery, Lower Extremity Wound Care, and Diabetic Limb Salvage from some of the best Podiatric physicians in the state of New Jersey.
